Tomorrow’s a big day for Bunny. We’ve got lots of pictures left to take to finish up the iToddler’s Christmas book “Bunny in the Burgh”. There’s the zoo, the nationality rooms, where we got married, Station Square, and about a dozen other stops. Should be a fun day, and it will be nice to have the fam together with no working on a weekend day.
In a previous post, I mentioned that life was a little chaotic for us because

Tonight we had a 100% drama-free bath time. No tears, no hesitation. Just pure, happy, bubble-eating fun, brought to you by the letter E.
As in Elmo.

I could not be more thrilled to have a sweet, lavender-scented toddler, snoozing away in a tryptophan-laden slumber. For this, I am most thankful to Dr. Heather, the BabyShrink who helped walk us though our six-month bath strike.
Look, Dr. Heather…we did it!

Tracy, over at Sweet Harper, shared her one-word thankfulness on Monday, so I’m joining her.
I only need one word…I love them more than I could say anyway.
Comment on this post (or link back to it from your own blog) with your own one-word expression of why you are thankful.
This time five years and four months ago, my BFF got down on BOTH knees (you read that right!) and asked me to be his wife forever and ever, and sealed the deal with a beautiful blue diamond ring. Four months later we said “I do!”, and five years after that, this guy still makes my toes curl, my cheeks hurt and my heart swell.
I am a very, very lucky lady.
Thank you for 5 beautiful, laughter-filled years, Sean. I can’t wait to see what

This will probably be my last “Weighing In” post, and I’m absolutely THRILLED about it.
Explanation, briefly: For 15 years of my life, I struggling with disordered eating patterns — everything from binge eating to anorexia to bulimia. My weight’s been up and down (size 2 to a 22, no lie), and I spent years in counseling, and eventually, I was finally able to have a normal relationship with food and a normal body image. I embraced my pregnancy and all the lumps and bumps that went with it, even

I have a pretty good spam filter on my blog, but every now and then, a super sneaky link bot gets through. You’d think that only really well-crafted comments would get through, you know, because they have to trick my spam annihilator. But not always.
Yesterday I got my favorite ever. Clearly from an avid reader who really connects with me and is excited about my Thirty-One party. I don’t know why, but I feel compelled to share it with you. Enjoy!
Regards for present quite excellent informations.

It’s been a while since I was consistent about writing. A post here, a post there, but nothing you can set your clocks to, that’s for sure. But here’s the thing.
Life is crazy.
We’re moving. Like relocating to another state.
I haven’t been talking about it because things weren’t really solidified and I felt strongly that I owed it to my employers (who are pretty awesome) to let them find out from me, not from my blog or someone who reads it. So I’ve been

A few weeks ago, I went to my very first Thirty-One open house and got to see first-hand how cool and unique the products are. I fell in love with a whole slew of products, but only bought a few things at the time. Then I decided to book my own! That way, I could share my favorite products with my favorite blog readers (that’s you!), and I could get some of the goodies I still have my eye on, using my host rewards.
If you’re looking for

Ever noticed that little list of links over there to the right? —–>
Well I read a lot of blogs. A LOT.
And sometimes I run across posts or recipes or ideas and something that I think you guys will really love. So I click the cute little “Share” icon in my Google Reader and off it goes to my website, for all of you to see.
You can also click the “Read More…” link and go right over to my master Google page to see all of the things

Halloween candy is pure evil. Halloween candy + cold, dreary weather is the devil. Halloween candy + cold, dreary weather + party food is the apocalypse.
I gained three pounds and a brand new muffintop last week. To celebrate, I ate 2 “fun-sized” 100 grand bars. For breakfast.
I’ve been deliberating on whether or not to cancel my Y membership. Lord knows I haven’t been over there since stinkin’ PNC and the dang-blamed lawyers in my building started their wicked plan to take over the entire block with their staged
